Knights' Dining Hall

Here is where the knights who are in the capital or visiting eat, if they so choose to.

Fallon walked in, surveying the scene around her. Although it was near lunchtime, no one was there, save the servants.

She filled up a tray, making sure to grab treats for the animals as well.

"You don't have to do anything with me. And I hope you remembered I favor the apple pie here," Mia said.

I was never surprised by this. She'd once been a mage. Her master had transformed her into a cat when she'd overheard his threat to overthrow the current king. But he'd been distracted during the spell, and forgot to weave in the spells for no speech or memory. He was dead now, and Mia, although stuck in her feline form, was living with me in the castle.

"Don't worry, Mia. How could I forget?" Fallon placed the dessert in front of the mage, digging into a hearty stew. She knew she'd need the energy at training later.

Finishing up, she left Mia to go to the training yards for afternoon practice. Hopefully her friends would remember.
